Slater: People seem to have a lot to gripe about in Sun City

I’m amazed! Whenever I pick up the Independent newspaper and read it, there’s always something for someone to complain about.

Now it’s the trains and the whistle blowing. The train tracks were here long before Sun City came about. You should have bought somewhere else, far away from the noises left by trains and airplanes.

Personally, I find it very soothing.

I could complain about our government. I think it’s rather foolish of the Republicans blaming the Democrats and vice versa. I think we all have a conscience and vote in whoever we think will do a good job, but from what I see and hear, whoever gets in is going to do as they darn well please.

We all have one life to live. Why not live it to the fullest and stop complaining?
