The Sidewinders entered four teams in the SSUSA Top Gun Tournament in Bullhead City and won big.

The 60s, 65s and 70s won their respective age brackets, and the 80s earned second place.

Sidewinders prep for nationals with Top Gun victories

The Sidewinders entered four teams in the SSUSA Top Gun Tournament in Bullhead City and won big.

The 60s, 65s and 70s won their respective age brackets, and the 80s earned second place.

Next up for the Sidewinders is the Tournament of Champions Feb. 6-10 in Polk County, Florida.

The Sun Cities Senior Softball League was formed in 1979 to allow the Sun City Softball Club and Sun City West Softball Club to co-mingle and enjoy the experience of senior softball within the two Del Webb communities.In 2009 the name was changed to the Sun Cities Senior Softball Association. The name Sun Cities Senior Softball League now refers to the co-mingling of the two clubs playing in the American and National Leagues.

Senior Softball-USA sanctions tournaments and championships, registers players, writes the rulebook, publishes Senior Softball-USA News, hosts international softball tours and promotes Senior Softball throughout the world. More than 1.5 million men and women over 40 play Senior Softball in the U.S. today.
