Shalom Club celebrates Hanukkah, notes next events

The Shalom Club of Sun City West and Sun City is a Jewish social club open to all residents of the Sun Cities regardless of religious affiliations.
On Dec. 18, 42 members met to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah with a catered dinner. They lit the menorah and enjoyed a story of Hanukkah.
Upcoming events for January include a trivia afternoon and ice cream social Jan. 14, lunch with friends Jan. 21 and Bingo and pizza Feb. 5. Other events include a day at the races and a boat ride on Lake Pleasant.
