The Rhythm Ramblers, Sun City’s original big band, will put a jazzy spin on traditional holiday music in a concert and dance Dec. 3, in the auditorium at Sundial Recreation Center, 14801 N. 103rd Ave. Doors open at 2 pm. Music will be from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Drinks and snacks may be brought in; cups and ice will be provided.

Formed by Del Webb in 1963, the Rhythm Ramblers have since performed more than 60 Christmas shows.

“This year, we’re drawing from the archives and bringing in some exciting new material, as well,” said Music Director Bryan Altherr.

Members of the Rhythm Ramblers Club get in free. Recreation Centers of Sun City cardholders who are not members pay $5. Escorted guests pay $7. Reservations are recommended for parties of four or more. Call Lynn Altherr at 602-909-7586 to reserve a table.

This concert and dance is the final event of the 2024 club year. Memberships for 2025 will be available for $10 at the door to anyone with a valid RCSC card.

Call Rick Lamb at 602-677-8841 for details on club membership and activities.
