Donations become income tax credits

Arizona residents may donate up to $200 per person of $400 per couple to local schools and use that donation as a credit for income tax.

Two local organizations have joined to assist the Nadaburg District in collecting donations that are eligible for the Arizona State Tax Credit.

On Saturday, November 2, 9:00 a.m. – noon, one of the Nadaburg District yellow school buses will be parked in the Sun City West Foundation parking lot, 14465 RH Johnson Blvd.

On Saturday, November 9, 9:00 a.m. – noon, a Nadaburg bus will be in the parking lot of the Property Owners and Residents Association of Sun City West, 13815 Camino del Sol.

People who take the time to invest their tax-credit dollars directly to a school are funding programs that otherwise would go unfunded.

The Nadaburg Unified School District offers opportunities that other districts do not: free after school activities and sports – transportation provided.  This small school district truly relies upon the generosity of surrounding communities to make positive differences in the daily lives of its students.  The district has two schools - Desert Oasis Elementary and Nadaburg Elementary, both grown from the original little red schoolhouse in Wittmann.
