Republican club gathers in Sun City West

Posted

The Sun City West Republican Club met Oct. 3 where 71 people abided by CDC and Sun City West Foundation restrictions.

The speakers were Board of Supervisors president Clint Hickman, Senate president David Livingston and state representatives Ben Toma and Frank Carroll. Club members were informed of voting information and state matters.

Clair Van Steenwyk spoke about the Republican signs that have been and continue to be stolen or vandalized.  He showed the club members one of the damaged signs.

The next meeting is Saturday, Nov. 7 and the number of attendees will be limited, so reservations will be taken until the quota is fulfilled.
