Reduced summer hours noted for Sun City Library bookstore

Books Around the Corner, the store selling used books in the Sun City Library at the Bell Recreation Center, will operate on reduced hours during July and August.
Store hours those months will be 9:30 a.m.-noon, Monday through Saturday, according to store manager Cathy Weyers.
This change does not affect the library itself, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
The bookstore is operated by volunteers from Friends of the Sun City Libraries. Its revenues, which exceeded $45,000 in 2024, are used to sponsor programs and purchase equipment for the Bell library and its affiliate at the Fairway Recreation Center.
