RCSC annual meeting yielded little information

Posted

We attended the Recreation Centers of Sun City annual membership meeting on March 11.

An annual meeting is the board of  directors’ opportunity to document its accomplishments and disappointments/failures of the previous year. It is the place to put forth faith in their employees. It is also the time to put forth the financial status of concern to their patrons.

None of the above happened. Instead, the board chose to stand behind the “advice of counsel” and told us absolutely nothing.

RCSC members have no idea what the board is doing, the state of the general manager or the organization’s financial solvency.

Being on the RCSC Board of Directors is a thankless, time-consuming job. That said, it appears to us the current board has failed us at every level.
