Benevilla announced its upcoming educational workshop, “Fall Prevention and Home Safety Tips,” for later this week.

This free event, which is designed to provide essential safety information for seniors and caregivers, takes place from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at the Benevilla Education Center, 14601 N. Del Webb Blvd.

The session will focus on practical strategies to help individuals reduce fall risks and maintain independence at home. Attendees will learn how simple adjustments to their home environment and daily routines can significantly prevent accidents and improve overall safety.

Falls are a leading cause of injury among older adults, but many accidents can be prevented with the right knowledge and precautions.

The workshop, which Presley Reader from ComForCare is presenting, will conclude with a Q&A session, allowing participants to address specific concerns and gain valuable insights tailored to their needs.

Seating is limited, so an RSVP is recommended. To register or learn about this workshop, call 623-584-4999, or visit benevilla.org/education-workshops-2025.
