Players return for 61st season

Posted

The Sun City Players opens its 61st season Monday, Sept. 19, with a regular monthly meeting 7 p.m. at the Mountain View center, which will continue to be the club’s home throughout the 2022-23 season.

There will be on-stage activity that leads into the new production season. This Monday’s meeting is an opportunity for interested Sun City residents to join and “play along.” Players will be having more activities and each club meeting, held the third Monday of the month from September to May, will have both business and entertainment. On Sept. 19, Frank Bowman will share his guitar and song stylings, suitable sing-along for all.

Sun City Players are bringing back their Readers Ensemble with new scripts, new members, new meeting times and more opportunities for performance at church groups, retirement facilities and for other Sun City clubs.

There will be time to purchase season tickets for the three main-stage plays and join the club as well. Annual membership fees are $10. An active RCSC card is required to join.
