From Jobim and Santana to Tchaikovsky to Rachmaninoff, the Piano Club of Sun City’s annual free concert, “An Evening to Remember,” had something for everyone.
Held Jan. 30 in the Sundial Recreation Center auditorium, an audience of nearly 700 people enjoyed a varied program where the best club pianists, chosen for their skill and audience appeal, entertained the crowd for nearly two hours.
The next Piano Club performance is 9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, in the Sundial Auditorium. Pianists of all styles and levels will play selections for the theme “Music from the Heart,” a nod to Valentine’s Day. RCSC cardholders and escorted guests are welcome at Piano Club events.
