The Northwest Valley Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Facebook discussion on minimum wage laws and this year’s election.
It’s scheduled for 10:15 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23 at facebook.com/surpriseregionalchamber.
The discussion will detail the difference between the two minimum wage ballot items, the impact on small businesses, how might it affect consumer prices and more.
Rick Gray, a former Arizona House and Senate member, will moderate the panel, which will feature John Balitis, a seasoned labor attorney, and Russ McCullough, an economist.
