Members of the New England Club of Sun City concluded their 2024-25 season of social events with a “drive-in” movie night May 10, at Lakeview Recreation Center.
Besides watching the movie “On Golden Pond,” which was set in New Hampshire, the New Englanders, including those clad in PJs, feasted on customary treats such as grinders, popcorn, watermelon and root beer floats, not to mention candy, soda and beer.
The next meeting of the New England Club, after the summer break, will take place 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Lakeview Recreation Center Social Hall 1, where members will celebrate Oktoberfest.
