Although the 2020 Covid lockdown doesn’t bring many found memories to most people, one group of Sun City Ukulele Club members had decided to form a small band they named Uke at Sandy’s, and five years later, it is still bringing joy through music. The musicians have volunteered to perform at various venues over the years and are pictured playing for the Banner Oliver Branch Senior Center April 9. The 12 songs performed consisted of blues, folk and hits from the fifties and sixties. Uke at Sandy’s band members include Dave Fuchs on bass, Brian Schliebe, Kathy Barrett, band organizer Sandy Mitchell, Kristy Worden and Mike Schiff.
