Has anyone ever noticed or thought about the many days we celebrate or remember the following:
Flag Day
Memorial Day
Fourth of July
Earth Day
Sept. 11
Presidents Day
Labor Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year’s Day
But now we have Gay Pride Month and Black History Month.
Why are we celebrating a month for the above and only one day for our Veterans and Memorial Day?
I am not an activist, but I feel we are catering to the loudest voices and small minority of the population. My question is why.
