Long: People knew the restrictions at purchase in Sun City
Posted
By Bette Long, Sun City
I moved from Glendale to Sun City in October 2014 when I was 81 years old.
I love living here, and the main reason is that the properties are well tended and it’s peaceful. I am certain that the majority of the population here chose Sun City to retire for this very same reason.
It is well known that there is a rule requiring residents to be at least 55 years old in order to live here, and I do not understand why some individuals want to challenge this rule. If permission is given to one, it will open the door to many more.
I hope the Board of Adjustment decides to reject any and all requests for special use permits.
