Leathercraft open house is Jan. 20

Sun City’s Leathercraft Club will be hosting an open house 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20.

Located at Lakeview Recreation Center, 10626 W. Thunderbird Blvd., the event offers refreshments and club membership information. Sign-up sheets are available for free leather tooling demonstration and for leathercraft classes that will be offered in 2023, which will include lacing, saddle stitching, tooling a flower, the Cobra 4 sewing machine, smaller stitch machine and purse making.

Many new leathercraft purses, belts, and artistic items are offered for sale. Browsing and questions are welcome.
