On the Fourth of July, probably close to 200 stood on Bell Road east of 98th Avenue in support of law enforcement with signs and flags.
But not a mention of that in any papers that I read. Before it became politically incorrect, we used to celebrate the police not only for the job they did protecting us but also for them, as individuals, giving back to the community. I hope that line of support will make a habit of displaying our appreciation for their service. I wouldn’t mind seeing that group every month recognizing the Blue Line.
