The Recreation Centers of Sun City Board of Directors periodically allows interests outside of Sun City to rent the Sundial Auditorium for special events.
The RCSC Rocking Thru The Years Dance Club is the club that has to cancel its dances when those outside events occur on a Saturday.
Our RTTY Dance Club has been informed by the RCSC board that our dances in April 2025 are canceled due to an outside interest renting the auditorium those weekends.
RTTY Dance Club averages 270 members per dance. Some of this income goes to the RCSC board.
The Vision & Mission Statements for Sun City mentions several times that the focus is to serve the residents of Sun City. How is allowing parties outside of Sun City to displace residents of Sun City who pay annual dues to RCSC Clubs focusing on Sun City residents?
