Hallelujah Blues Band back to the Fountain

Surprise venue reopened, starts to schedule shows

Posted

I and J Fountain Restaurant in Surprise underwent deep cleaning in late July, after closing July 13 due to possible employee exposure to COVID-19, later confirmed by positive tests.

The restaurant has now reopened and the live music acts will soon be back, including one whose originally planned July 25 concert was canceled.

The Hallelujah Blues Band will play from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, and  has a second show from the same time frame Saturday, Sept. 12 at I and J Fountain, 12221 W. Bell ROad, Surprise.

Originally starting in 1997 as Wilby Dunn, the band changed its name to The Hallelujah  Blues Band in 2007. The combo features Patrick Veit (guitar, lead vocals, Michael Caruso (bass, background vocals) and Robert Lowman (drums).

Due to limited seating reservations are required by calling 623-583-1222.

The Hallelujah Blues Band is a power rock band based in Phoenix that performs a variety of  blues, rock ’n roll, gospel and originals. They list Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix among their influences.

The band plays everywhere from night clubs to restaurants, private parties, and even Harley Davidson dealerships. They also serve the community by performing at fundraisers, charities, churches, ministry events and a variety of other venues.
