Finesse Beauty Salon customers are dealing with some change, as is the business owner, Sarah Roadruck.
Karen Tessitore and Joanne Kanute, independent contractor hairstylists, relocated their services to Finesse, 14633 N. Del Webb Blvd., in the La Ronde Centre in Sun City. They made the move because they believe Finesse offers the best environment for their customers.
“With the concern of social (physical) distancing, we feel Finesse Beauty Salon is equipped to meet the Centers for Disease Control guidelines for our clients,” Ms. Tessitore stated in an email.
The pair offers roller sets, blow dry styles, haircuts, perms, colors, foil highlighting and other services. Both have been in the industry more than 35 years, much of it in Sun City.
To adjust to the new standards in a COVID-19 world, Ms. Tessitire and Ms. Kanute will take extra measures of sanitation and disinfecting between clients. They will also wear masks when they are within six feet of clients. Masks are also recommended for clients. While they have a new focus on safety, they retain their priority to help clients look their best.
“Looking your best strengthens your self-image, a stronger self-image increases your self-esteem and a stronger self-esteem brings greater success and confidence,” Ms. Kanute stated in an email. “Be the best you can be is our motto!”
