How many of you members, especially those winter visitors who have already left, have heard that effective June 1 fivesomes will no longer be allowed? Now how many of you year-round residents know they are contemplating only two carts per foursome? This should not surprise anyone since there are a lot of rule changes that are enacted without considering any input from the Sun City golfing community.
The question is what can we, as golfers, do about it? It seems that when opinions or suggestions are made at board meetings they are ignored. It is more of a dog and pony show.
Unless, we as golfers ban together with one voice through maybe petitions nothing will change and that is our fault.
