Golf car parade spreads Christmas cheer

Posted

The COP Condo HOA hosted its first holiday golf car parade Dec. 19 along West Castle Rock Drive.

Residents Sharon and Ken Davis wanted to spread a little Christmas cheer, but wanted to do it safely. So, the word went out and a festive golf car parade made its way through HOA Castle Rock, Omega and Prospect streets, as well as other nearby neighborhoods.

Music, lights decorations and candy canes lit up the faces of young and old alike. A present was given as well for the best decorated cart.

The event date was also scheduled to highlight and view the merging of planets Saturn and Jupiter to form an extremely rare Christmas star.
