Glendale veteran gets free dental care in Sun City

Dentist gives back on Veterans Day

Posted

Army veteran James Geary of Glendale was the recipient of some free dental work on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

Mr. Geary, who served from 1994 to 2006, was also a first responder in New York City on 9/11.

Dr. Sibera Brannon of Affordable Dentures & Implants, 10918 W. Bell Road, Sun City provided Mr. Geary with free dental care, which includes new dentures.

“It means the world to me because I can’t afford this dental care,” Mr. Geary stated in a news release. “Right now, I look like a hockey player and it’s going to be good to actually smile again. Dr. Brannon is a wonderful person, and he walks on water to us vets.”

According to the American College of Prosthodontists, 178 million Americans are missing at least one tooth, and more than 35 million Americans are missing all their teeth on one or both arches.

“Giving back to our veterans is something that is really close to my heart,” Dr. Brannon stated. “Our veterans protect our freedom, and it’s important for me to use my skills as a dentist to help make a difference in our veterans’ lives as an appreciation for their service.”
