Residents can help make the holidays a little brighter for those who qualified for Sun City Foundation assistance during the year by participating in Santas For Seniors.

Donors can take a tag from the tree at Fairway Recreation Center, 10600 W. Peoria Ave., and return it to the Recreation Centers of Sun City corporate office at Lakeview Recreation Center, 10626 W. Thunderbird Blvd., no later than Friday, Dec. 13 with a $25 gift card (Fry’s, Safeway, Walmart, etc.) and RCSC officials will share donor generosity with those less fortunate.

The Sun City Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, helps RCSC members who have outlived their resources through assistance with RCSC annual property assessments, allowing these members to continue their use of the recreational facilities and remain active and social.

Donations during the holiday season will be helping someone less fortunate in the community.

Call 623-561-4600.

Editor’s Note: Ms. Higgins is Recreation Centers of Sun City communications and marketing coordinator.
