Free Zoom event for Arizonans with Parkinson’s

Those among the nearly 18,000 Arizonans living with Parkinson’s Disease can register for “New Frontiers in Research and Care,” a free educational event live on Zoom 1-2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5.

Participants will learn more about PD GENEration, a Parkinson’s Foundation research initiative that offers free genetic testing and genetic counseling for people with Parkinson's.

The event will also cover how research has shaped current treatments and the role genetics play in Parkinson’s. The event will be available to Arizonans with Parkinson’s, their families, caregivers and healthcare professionals.
