At Sun City Meals on Wheels, we deeply appreciate the dedication of our volunteers who deliver meals 365 days of the year. Their generosity and support are the backbone of our organization, enabling us to maintain the essential infrastructure that keeps us running smoothly.
Currently, we have an urgent need for team leaders to help us continue providing this essential service to our community.
A team leader coordinates daily meal routes to ensure that permanent drivers and runners are scheduled and available; schedules substitutes as needed from the Meals on Wheels trained substitutes list; reports issues about non-deliverable meals, address corrections, unclear directions, and other incidents to the Meals on Wheels office; assists as needed to support drivers and runners with their routes; and are responsible for one day a week with a time commitment that generally ranges from 1-3 hours.
If you have someone you’d like to team with and share responsibilities or have other ideas about how you might contribute, we are very open to flexible arrangements.

Sun City Meals on Wheels relies solely on private donations to operate and does not receive any state or federal funding. We are a 501c(3)nonprofit organization which makes all donations eligible for a tax deduction. We are actively seeking donations to continue to serve our community.
