Dumais: Had plenty of time to be prepared in Sun City

Dear Mr. Schroeder (Recreation Centers of Sun City board president), OK, now we get this email condemning the “few” people who have complained about not being able to use the facilities while the golf courses remain unaffected (literally}.
You went on to say that the assessment fees were charged regardless of whether the facilities were available to the homeowners.
Why do you think us seniors bought property in this desert? For the rocks? Or the extreme temperatures? Now you inform us that you are not prepared to open the facilities after the governor gave the clearance to do so. What exactly were you and the rest of the directors doing for the last six weeks? Playing golf?
Thank God the other organizations, the United States Navy, Coca Cola and the Arizona Department of Transportation, that I have been part of, were not this unprepared. Just keep sending the propaganda about doing what is best for all of us.
