Daughters, legion post donate during holidays

Linda West, a member of the Luke Greenway American Legion Post 1, and Patricia “Tish” Alicki, who is the Auxiliary Sergeant of Arms for the American Legion Post 62, are shown with donated gifts from the Sun City National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Agua Fria Chapter. Ms. Alicki is the NSDAR Chapter Chaplain. More food, clothes and toys were also donated and volunteers wrapped all the gifts and delivered them to 14 needy families with a total of 70 children. A certificate of appreciation was presented to the AZDAR Agua Fria Chapter by Luke Greenway ALA Unit 1 Department of Arizona. Visit aguafriaarizonadar.weebly.com. [Submitted photo]
