The Ms. Senior Arizona Pageant is a statewide pageant honoring the age of elegance.

The rehearsal for the crowning event took place Aug. 14 and the official pageant will be 6 p.m., August 24, at The Vista Center for the Arts, 15660 N. Parkview Place. Tickets are $15 or $25 for VIP.

The pageant showcases the motivation and inspiration from senior women. The Ms. Senior Arizona Pageant organization provides entertainment to many of the hospitals and care facilities throughout the state. These charitable ventures also include the continued sponsorship of organizations that help victims of domestic violence.

The inaugural pageant was in 1990 and it was an instant success. This year, Prime Wealth Advisors is the lead sponsor for the event and officials are estimating over a thousand people will attend. A portion of pageant proceeds is donated to the “A New Leaf” foundation. Started in 1971, A New Leaf provides assistance to those most in need in our community; helping families, children, and adults so they can overcome financial and domestic challenges.
