Chorale presents Christmas concert in Sun City
Posted
The Sonoran Sounds Women’s Chorale will present a holiday concert open to the public 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 10233 W. Peoria Ave.
No tickets are required, but a free-will offering will be taken.
The Chorale sings both sacred and popular selections for Christmas. They are directed by Sue Powell and accompanied by Jan Schaafsma.
The chorale is a non-profit corporation founded in 2003. Members come from all over the West Valley and have various musical backgrounds. Most have sung in choirs all their lives; several are musical educators, and many are accomplished instrumentalists.
