Chicken Ranch in Surprise brings back live music

October is the month when many people and entertainers are returning to Surprise and the Northwest Valley, and in the busy season The Chicken Ranch has entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m. six nights a week.

Featured acts at The Chicken Ranch, 14051 W. Grand Ave., include the following:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 4 - Thaddeus Rose. Reservations are suggested as Thaddeus usually fills the house.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 11 - Open Mic with "Rockin the Oldies," five guys who love to play good music.  Those who like to sing or play can join the fun. Sign up starts at 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 18 - Jumping Chollas Band. They bring life to some of the best, most loved and popular rock, country, pop and dance music every recorded.
  • Saturday Oct. 21 - This is a big night and reservations a must. Don Williams Sr., formally with the award winning group The Commodores.  Williams was with the legendary Temptations before joining The Commodores from 1999 to 2002. The Chicken Ranch creates a special menu for this show.  Reservations and dinner are required by call 623-248-6628. This includes a cover charge of $6 per person.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 24 and every Tuesday after that, Tim Hope of TNT Entertainment of AZ will be back in town after spending the summer in  Aruba.  Tim and Debbie had show dates every night in Aruba, and they are very popular entertainers there.  Tim and Debbie bring Motown and much more to the Chicken Ranch. Reservation are suggested.
  • Saturday, Oct. 28 -  The fabulous Rick Lenzi, a known Elvis Tribute artist in the Valley. 

Every Monday Rick and Michelle lead karaoke night.
