The Knights of Columbus Frank Comaianni Charity Golf Tournament will be March 22 at the Willowcreek Golf Course, 10600 N. Boswell Blvd. This event is sponsored by the St Elizabeth Seton Knights of Columbus Council 12144 and proceeds from the tournament are used to send children to the St Joseph Youth Camp.

The four-person scramble is limited to the first 144 paid entries. Single players will be assigned to a team. Check-in time is 6-7:30 a.m. at the Willowcreek clubhouse. Shotgun start is 8 a.m.

The registration fee is $55 per golfer, which includes lunch, door prizes, a goody bag and a donation. Checks should be made payable to KC Council 12144.

Golf fees will be paid at Willowcreek. They are $9 for a resident with an annual permit, $41 for a resident without a permit and $53 for a non-resident. Car fee is $15 per person.

There are payouts for first, second and third places for three flights, based on handicaps. Prizes for closest to the pin on all par 3s and longest drive on hole #3. All par 3s will also have Hole-in-One contests, with a $10,000 prize for a Hole-in-One on hole #8.

Golfers 80 and older can use the gold tees; ages 70 to 79 use red tees. All others use white tees. However, all golfers must use the white tees on the par threes to be eligible for prizes.

Lunch and awards will be at the St Elizabeth Seton Parish Hall immediately after the tournament at 9728 W. Palmeras Drive. Security will be provided for golf cars in the parking lots. Teams should bring their score cards to the hall.

Lunch will be provided by Famous Dave’s and beverages will be provided by the Knights. The announcement of winners and prizes will be awarded at the hall.

Entry forms are available at all Sun City golf courses or at scmgaaz.org, under the Knights of Columbus Frank Comaianni Annual Charity Golf Tournament heading. Entry forms and checks are to be turned in at any time before March 14, to the starter at Willowcreek Golf Course.
