Catholic Daughters celebrate donations

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #2278, Our Lady of Lourdes, held their last meeting of the year May 17 in Madonna Hall, 19002 N. 128th Ave. The court has given away hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of the year from all the events they sponsor. Standing in the picture are, from left, State Secretary Joyce Stalians and Regent Rosemary Dougherty. They are admiring the thank you cards from the charities that received donation. Our Lady of Lourdes has a very active court, with fundraisers that include rummage sales, spaghetti dinners, a Christmas Cookie Walk, shred-a-thons and a fashion show. Contact Dougherty at 623-760-8479 for more information.
