Castro: Residents not happy about new facility in Sun City

It has come into light that there is a drug rehab and halfway house now right in the center of Sun City, a senior Community.
We are not against anyone who’s trying to get their life in order, but to have (this facility) where no matter what age the clients near Sun City senior housing might not be a safe environment! The place is called Emerald Isle Health and recovery on corner of 107th and Peoria avenues, right across from Fairway Center. I believes the nature of some clients at such a facility could present a safety risk to residents.
They have no respect for the elderly here in Sun City! People retired here because they didn’t want to live in a high crime area!
Something has to be done, or someone could be badly hurt!
