Bonnie Jane Ruf, age 91 was peacefully called home to her Lord on September 5, 2024. Bonnie was born on December 22, 1932, in Salem, MO to Louis and Inez Lay. She met the love of her life, Andrew Ruf, and they had 58 blissful years together until his death in 2009. They moved eight times and over the years had 4 children, who were all with their mom during her final days. She leaves behind her children, Pam Sackett (Russ), Mark Ruf (Patty), Greg Ruf and Patty Chandler. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her family couldn’t have loved her more. Bonnie loved to play bridge, Mahjong and especially playing any game with her grandchildren. She helped her family and anyone else who needed attention. Bonnie and Andy joined Faith Presbyterian Church in 1990. Bonnie immediately immersed herself in the Church’s mission and became an active participant wherever she was needed. A service honoring Bonnie will be held at a later date.
