The Sun City All-Stars Big Band will perform 4 p.m. March 15 at American Lutheran Church of Sun City, 17200 W. Del Webb Blvd., as part of the Wednesday Night Alive series.
This Sun City group was built upon a love of the Big Band sounds of the ‘40s and ‘50s. Under the direction of Duane Moore, the group consists of 17 retired music professionals residing in the West Valley.
Following the program, at 5 p.m., there is a catered meal of Shepherds Pie. The 4 p.m. program is free, but the meal costs $12. To attend the dinner, buy a ticket in advance no later than noon the preceding Monday, March 13. One need not attend the meal to attend the performance.
Contact the church at 623-974-2512 oralcsuncity.org for more information about the program or how to purchase a meal ticket.
