She was born in Wyandotte, Michigan at 10:15a.m. on March 16, 1933 and faithfully lived out her Baptism in Christ since October 22, 1939 and was confirmed September 23, 1962. Shortly after becoming a single mother of four children, Betty began working at the Scottsdale Unified School District where she met the love of her life David, who was a single father of two children. She achieved her Arizona High School Certificate of Equivalency in 1974 then completed her Nursing Aid Qualifications at Scottsdale Community College in 1976 and became a Registered Nurse licensed by the Arizona State Board of Nursing in 1977. After retiring in 2003, Betty loved traveling, spending time with her husband and being a constant loving advocate, trusted advisor, source of strength and positive influence to her growing family, friends and neighbors and every other person she encountered. Betty is dearly missed and survived by her brother Bill, sons Chuck and Dan, daughters Debbie and Barbara, 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and every other person’s life she loved and nurtured.
