I think Sun City has more important things to worry about.
We have more homeless drug people wondering our community than ever. They sleep in our golf courses, always trying to get into our rec centers to use showers, etc. I quit going to Fry’s grocery on 107th and Grand avenues because of the homeless. I know someone that works in Fry’s and says our elderly are always getting robbed. Fry’s has a “security guy” that stands either right outside the entrance or just inside. Does no good. I do not feel safe with that kind of security.
Someone should be driving in the parking lot moving the homeless out!
Most of the homeless are also under the age of 65. We have a guy that zips up and down the street all hours of the day and night on a gas-powered scooter. Drugs are very much involved! Have been for at least five years. He is under 65 years of age.
So this nonsense of worrying about short term rentals is ridiculous. Worry about the homeless, the drugs, the crime in Sun City!
