A Beatlemania tribute show won’t be making its way to Sun City.
Beatlesque, a band honoring the Fab Four’s legacy, was originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 15 at Sundial Center, 14801 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City. The event was canceled due to coronavirus public gathering precautions.
The seven-piece band performs all classic Beatles songs from “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” to “Let It Be” in a 90-minute show featuring more than 25 of their greatest hits. Chuck Moses and Ethan Foxx portray Lennon/McCartney.
Beatlesque is a presentation of Mesa-based Ansel Entertainment, which produces and books live music and tribute shows at casinos, community theaters and retirement resorts. Ansel’s lineup also includes Elton John, Neil Diamond and Journey tribute bands among others
