The Arizona Questers recently held their 2024 fall state conference at the Sun City Country Club, with the Sun Cities Roadrunner Quester chapter as co-hosts.
The program was “Sun City – The Community That Changed a Nation.” Guest speaker Bret McKeand, president of the Sun Cities Historical Society Board of Trustees, presented an overview and historic photos of the development of America’s very first retirement community.
The Questers were founded to further knowledge and education about antiques and to encourage preservation, restoration and conservation of historic buildings, sites and antiquities. There are currently 18 Quester chapters throughout Arizona, with three located in the Sun Cities area.
