Case makes donors eligible for raffles

Arizona Eye Institute and Cosmetic Laser Center staff wants to help the community as the heat turns up and are collecting cases of water bottles to support the efforts of the Salvation Army to hydrate those most in need during the summer months.

The staff will collect water donations through July. Contributions can be given at the institute’s Sun Cities locations — 19502 N. R.H. Johnson Blvd., Sun City West, or 10701 W. Bell Road, Sun City.

Those who donate one case of water can enter a summer raffle for prizes, including Obagi medical grade skin care products, injectables like Botox and soft-tissue filler. Forms can be filled out and left at either office when donating a case of water. Winners will be drawn later in the summer and winners will be contacted by the first week of August.

This has been a tough year for many families and friends in the community, and it is probably the most important water drive Arizona Eye Institute staff will undertake. Many people are struggling and this heat only creates a more difficult situation for many community members finding themselves in greater need than usual, as well as for first responders who work hard to care for residents. This water will support their efforts.

The water donations will be placed right through the front doors. Donors are asked to wear a mask while in the building to ensure a safe, sanitary environment for patients and team members.
