The annual Sun City Art Show takes place Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 8-9 at the Bell Rec Center Social Hall, 16820 N. 99th Ave., and all Sun City residents with current Rec Cards invited to enter artwork.
Artists may pick up entry rules and forms in the Palo Verde Art Room in the Sundial Recreation Center, 14801 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, or in the Artists By the Lake art room at Lakeview Recreation Center, 10626 W. Thunderbird Blvd., Sun City.
Artists must submit their completed entry forms and artwork between 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 in the Bell Recreation Center Social Hall, 16820 N. 99th Ave., Sun City.
Judges for this year’s Award Ribbons are Susan Diehl (susandiehl.com) and Renee Parker Jones (rpjfineart.com/contact-the-artist).
Participating artists may attend an Artists Only Critique 4:30–5:30 pm. Friday, Feb. 7 at at the Bell Rec Center. Following the critique will be a reception 5:30–6:30 pm. Invited patrons and participating artists with one guest may attend.
All rules and regulations outlined in the entry forms must be followed. Work not sold during the show must be picked up 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9.
