8-Tracks play free show in Surprise park

The 8-Tracks will present a free concert at Mark Coronado Park, 15850 N Bullard Ave., Surprise.

The show is from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23.

This oldies Rock ‘n Roll band. The 8-Tracks revive the nostalgia of rock ‘n roll music of the ‘50s, the ‘60s and ‘70s.

The band have been together more than 25 years. They have performed at various venues, amphitheaters throughout Maricopa County and the metro Phoenix area.

The 8-Tracks have collectively worked with several rock ‘n roll stars and legends, including The Beach Boys, The Grass Roots, Tommy James and the Shondells, Tommy Roe, Johnny Cash, Jay and the Techniques, Johnny Rivers, Bellamy Brothers, Bobby Vee, The Ventures and The Buckinghams to name a few.

The band’s lead singer and front man is Sun City resident, J.L. Pike.
