The Jan. 20 regular meeting of the Sun City Players Community Theater was attended by 130 members and guests who were entertained with a variety of skits, monologues, songs and dance, following the short business portion of the club. The show, “Live from Sun City: A Cabaret,” which was performed by club members under the direction of Carla Balk, culminated with the “Macarena” and audience participation. Club meetings, followed by entertainment, take place 7 p.m. the third Monday of the month, from September to May, at the Mountain View Recreation Center. For a schedule of future Monday night events and to purchase tickets for the next main stage production of the “1940’s Radio Hour,” Visit suncityplayers.org.
