Fuerza Regida has announced a new Phoenix date for its upcoming summer tour.
The headlining Pero No Te Enamores Tour will already come to Footprint Center on June 22, but with that show a sellout the band has added a second date, Sunday, June 23, also at Footprint.
General ticket sales begin at 10 a.m. Friday, April 19 at LiveNation.com.
Fronted by Jesús Ortiz Paz, the popularity of the San Bernardino-native group has increased since their 2023 Billboard Music Award wins and the success of their album “Pa Las Baby’s Y Belikeada.”
The tour features a 360-degree stage configuration, placing fans in the center of the performance for a more immersive concert experience.
Fuerza released their latest EP, “Dolido Pero No Arrepentido,” which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Latin Albums chart, and all six songs from the EP reached Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart. The upcoming tour will feature the first performances of songs from the new EP.
The band has released eight albums in three years, with their second album, 2019’s “Del Barrio Hasta Aqui,” entering the Regional Mexican Charts at No. 1. Their 2018 single “Sigo Chambeando” has been streamed 300 million times on YouTube and Spotify alone.
Paz founded Fuerza Regida in 2015, originally to perform covers of their favorite songs. Their fan base grew, and after two years they went viral with an origial track called “Radicamos en South Central.” The tune was uploaded to Jesús’s personal YouTube channel and blew up.
