Attention, Goodyear voters: General Election voting is under way in Arizona. The Maricopa County Elections Department began mailing ballots Wednesday, Oct. 7 to those who signed up to get their ballots by mail, and a handful of in-person Vote Centers and ballot drop box sites have opened around the Valley.

Voting begins in Arizona: Where, when to vote in Goodyear

Attention, Goodyear voters: General Election voting is under way in Arizona. The Maricopa County Elections Department began mailing ballots Wednesday, Oct. 7 to those who signed up to get their ballots by mail, and a handful of in-person Vote Centers and ballot drop box sites have opened around the Valley.

There are no assigned precinct locations in Maricopa County; voters can visit any Vote Center or drop box location that is open.

Goodyear in-person and drop box sites aren’t scheduled to open until later in the month, but those who don’t want to wait have two in-person choices in the West Valley right now: McDowell Square, 5114 W. McDowell Road, Phoenix, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays; and Surprise City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza, Surprise 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.

Estrella Foothills High School

When: 6 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3

Canyon Trails

Hours at all sites are subject to change, according to Maricopa County elections officials, to find Vote Centers and ballot drop box sites around the county and get updates on hours, visit locations.maricopa.vote.

Registered voters who want to check the status of their ballots and sign up for updates can visit beballotready.org.

Those who would like to request a ballot by mail have until Friday, Oct. 23 to do so at request.maricopa.gov.
