WHAM Art Alliance will offer fall break camp Oct. 11 to 14, with two classes each day at its center, 16560 N. Dysart Road.
These kids arts and crafts classes are designed for children 8 to 12 years old. WHAM’s Apples for Art Program provides kids with an opportunity to enjoy the arts during school breaks.
Kids can stay all day for camp, taking both the morning and afternoon class and stay through the lunch period, Parents are asked to send their children with a sack lunch if they are staying for both classes.
Students are supervised during lunch break between classes. Each 90-minute class costs $10 and all supplies will be provided.
The class schedule for fall break camp is
- 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11 - Chalk pastel with instructor Dede Robinson.
- Noon Tuesday, Oct. 11 - Scarecrow with instructor Dede Robinson.
- 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 - Alcohol ink with instructor Dede Robinson.
- Noon Wednesday, Oct. 12 - Christmas tree with instructor Dede Robinson.
- 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 - Painting on glass gems with instructor Jen Clevenger.
- Noon Thursday, Oct. 13 - Christmas ornament with instructor Jen Clevenger.
- 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14 - Sand building with instructor Jen Clevenger.
- Noon Friday, Oct. 14 - Wind sock with instructor Jen Clevenger.
