The Lindsay Road Interchange construction project along Loop 202 will require a full closure of the westbound Santan Freeway between Val Vista Drive and Gilbert Road in the Gilbert/Chandler area from 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8.

The following ramps will also be closed: The westbound Loop 202 on-ramps at Williams Field Road, Santan Village Parkway and Val Vista Drive, according to a release.

For a detour, motorists traveling west on Loop 202 may consider exiting ahead of the closure and use Pecos, Germann or Queen Creek roads to Gilbert Road to access Loop 202.

ADOT urges drivers to plan ahead for detours and travel delays; slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the restrictions are in place.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
