A festival with a nearly 50-year history in Tempe will return this spring.
The Tempe Festival of the Arts, which hosts events in March and December, will once again open to the public on March 25 and run through March 27 along Mill Avenue.
The three-day event will be open from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Admission for the 43rd annual festival is free. A portion of the proceeds earned at the festival will benefit local charities.
Guests will take in the work from over 350 artists from around the country, local music, a Kids Block and tons of food options. This spring’s featured artist is LanVy Nguyen.
The festival receives over 1,000 applications from artists across the country each year. A jury full of members of the local art community then selects the top artisans in each category to participate in the festival.
